Simultaneously to the release of i-doit version 0.9.1 we are presenting our new website with a new CMS and a revised design. Some of the old texts and directories were taken aside, some of them were newly structured. Our main focal point was on the clarity of the new website.

Neues Update: i-doit 0.9.1.2949

Immediatley available is a new version of i-doit. It will fix some bugs and features some new content, if you want to know more regarding the changes look below to the changelog. The easiest way to update i-doit is to jump to your \'/updates\' directory. See below how this works.
In the future we will be releasing new updates and patches regularly. Please use the forum to report bugs or to ask questions. It\'s always a big help.

Neues Release: i-doit 0.9.2

We are happy to present to you the first new release this year. It is quite a bit bigger than the last one because we integrated some interesting, new features in it.
To give you an example i-doit will now work with HTTPS without any problems and all workflows can be edited subsequently.� Generally speaking we terminated a lot of the smaller bugs and shifted our concern to some of the not so distinctive contents to get a better workflow.

Neue i-doit Version 0.9.3, Support, Reportmanager und Inventarisierung

We are pleased to announce a new release of i-doit. There are many improvements and fixes in handling, stability and performance. Enough to be worthwhile, updating to this new version. With the same time synetics, the head behind the project, starts offering professional Service and Support options for companies using i-doit.

There is a first product, called Support-Box, which gives users a defined way of getting direct assistance from technical experts and developers. This (real) box is firstly focused on the German market, so you can find a German manual and packing in scope of delivery. But for sure, the support service is also available for the English-speaking community... ;-)

Last but not least there are two AddOns bundled with this support solution. So you get a Reportmanager, helping you evaluating the data in i-doit. Second there is an import interface, whose XML-part can read the output of H-Inventory. H-Inventory is an Open-Source tool, which collects technical data in a mostly automated way from different systems/OS.

The new i-doit version 0.9.3-r419 is now available in our download section.
Beside many fixes, the highlight of this update is the purge function of objects.

ITSM mit i-doit und nagios, Schnittstelle verf�gbar

The new Version of our interconnection between i-doit and nagios is available with immediate effect. In the first step, it delivers the following functionalities:

- New Category: Nagios for server objects
- Real-time status queries of nagios host- and service-definitions inside idoit
- Uptime status in the information header (\"at a glance\")
- Monitoring of server services over the nagios category
- A changing status is automatically assigned to the logbook of the corresponding i-doit object.
- Transparent module configuration over the graphical user interface

In the second step we will concentrate the documented data of i-doit, so that a direct export into the specific nagios configuration can be executed. Dependencies, Contacts and Notifications will be considered.

There are some requirements connected to the usage of this interface. We request accurate reading of the release and installation notes, which are attached to the download. The software can be downloaded over the download section of i-doit.org.
